Hello.
I am sorry I haven't got around to posting in a while. I have been doing so much lately. Right now I am in Sacramento, California for my uncle's graduation. This year I will be going into high school as a freshman. I am really disappointed right now because it turns out that my school district has decided that no freshman is going to be double blocked which means that I am going to be stuck in the bottom two bands. That is a real bummer. I was the best trombone player in my school and I am going to be forced into the bottom bands. But the band is fighting them so I hope that that will be changed.

Last weekend was very important to me because I finally got confirmed. I had to go through the intire service in this hot gown. After the sermon we went up to the alter and the pastor asked us questions about our faith. All in all it was not to painful but it is something that I will remember for a long time.

Title: Journey to the Center of the Earth

Author: Jules Verne

Rating: 5

Axel, the nephew of Professor Otto Liddenbrock, was surprised when his uncle came home early ranting about a 300 year old authentic Icelandic manuscript, but when a cryptograph is found in its pages his uncle will not eat, sleep or rest until it is solved while forcing his household to do the same. Then Axel discovers the cryptograph's secret but is determined to keep it from his uncle. But hunger can weaken a man's will and Axel finally gives in and tells his secret. His uncle is thrilled and immediately they prepare to set out for Iceland. There they are joined by Hans, a quiet Icelander that would be their guide, and together they set out for their final destination; the center of the earth and fame.
