As he grew older his dad built a gym in there home so Theodore could build up his strength. In 1872 Theodore got his first gun. Because he couldn't read distant billboards and he was very incapable of making a shot his family saw his nearsightedness. His father got Theodore his spectacles a little while after his first gun. Title: Mattimeo

Author: Brian Jacques

Rating: 5

At the beginning of the story

This is the book after Redwall and Matthias has a son name Mattimeo. He gets in a lot of trouble. Slager the Fox steals all the young ones from Redwall. In the book Redwall there was a little fox named Chickenhound that was bitten by a poisonous snake, I thought he was dead, but he is still alive. The poison that was injected into Chickenhound went to his brain and made him crazy and he made up his own story of why he was like the way he was, and he believed it. He wants revenge on Redwall because he thought it was their fault. Chickenhound is now Slager. Matthias tries to recover the children. With a group of friends he sets out. At Redwall abbey the creatures there found a map which the travelers would need, so they copy it and the sparrows are sent off with copies for the map to Matthias to help them on their way. After the sparrows leave General Ironbeak and his army of ravens kill the sparrows that were left to try to take over Redwall. Mattimeo is on the slave line of Slager the Fox. Slager plans to sell them to a polecat so Slager can rule part of his land. So there is two problems not one, I hope they solve both.

Thanksgiving

Over Thanksgiving break I went to my Grand mother's house in Kansas. I had a lot of fun. The drive would take 10-12 hours, so we took along snacks to eat in the car. The first time we left on Tuesday. We planned to get to Grandma's house that night. There was one minor set back, my mom had left her purse at home. So we, by the time we got back, had wasted four hours of the day and had to wait a whole day to leave for Grandma's. My sister and I were very disappointed, but since we could not get to Grandma's house that day we went to see "Pirates of the Caribbean". My favorite part was when the cursed pirates walked underwater to capture a ship.

Twas the day before Thanksgiving and away we went to Grand mother's house. The ride was hard and rough but we got through. When we got there everybody greeted us and we had pizza for dinner. That night my cousins, Amanda and Dillon, spent the night at Grandma's with us. The next day was Thanksgiving. Our relatives started coming to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. All the kids made little arts with cookie cut outs and glitter glue. We chose a cookie and made designs with the glitter glue. I made two arts. They were a bell and a ginger bread man. My ginger bread man was curved upwards so the glue on his head slid off. We had a lot of things to eat; turkey, ham, rolls, and mass potatoes. That night my sister and Amanda slept over at Amanda's house. My baby sister and Dillon, Amanda's younger brother, stayed at Grandma's house with me. That morning I played Play Station 2 with Brian. Since my sister was still at Amanda's, my mom took me to Shawn's so Shawn and I could do something together.

The first thing we did was go to a movie. We saw the "Haunted Mansion". It was so freaky! in a good / evil way. My favorite part was when the guy Eddie Murphy was playing has to take a key out of a decaying body so he can unlock the secret, reveal the truth, and get out with his family in one piece. After the key is abstracted from the body, it comes to life and tries to attack him and his daughter. He drops the key and his daughter goes into the water to find it. To shorten up the summary... he knocks the zombie's head off, then a very large number of zombies come out of the other crypts. His daughter finds the key and the zombies chase them. When they get to the top of the stairs the door closes and the outside of the doors becomes covered in tarantulas. His son is afraid of spiders but he masters his fears and lets them out. This scene is less / almost 20 minutes long and this is the summary of it.

After the movie we went to the Taco Bell to eat. Finally, we went to All Star, an arcade. The arcade has many different games. They even have a holiday special, buy 20 dollars in coins and get 10 dollars free. The one game I played the most was the "Wheel of Fortune." I got to spin the wheel 4 times, I got a 30, 45, 55, and 300. When I used up all my coins I had almost 1000 tickets. I got a lot of cool things. The night before we left, all of our relatives in Kansas got together for a big dinner. There was lots of food and I got to try crab. The next day we were given a lot of teddy bears. So we put them in the truck, said our goodbyes, and headed home. This was my very cool Thanksgiving. I hope you will tell me about yours.
