Eragon starts his journey in his peaceful home town of Palacar Valley. While hunting in the Spine, a range of land that most anyone who enters will suffer some kind of accident. Eragon had quick reflexes so he had no accidents. Before he got to kill a deer, a saphier stone magically appeared and scared the deer away. The stone turned out to be a dragon egg. Eragon home was destroyed and his uncle killed by people searching for the egg. Eragon escapes with the newly hatched dragon. So his journey begins. Many dangers await Eragon. Will he have the courage to face them?
The author of this book was 15 when he wrote it. I think that will be an insperation to all young authors. I hope to be one of those young authors for I'm writing a book too.
