Author: J. R. R. Tolkien
Rating: 5
The Hobbit begins in a large hole in a hill. Not a dark, damp, or glompy hole but a nice, bright, comfortable Hobbit Hole. In this paticular Hobbit Hole lived Mr. Bilbo Baggins the master of Bag End. One day Grandalf the Wizard came by and started talking to Bilbo about adventures. Bilbo was part Baggins and part Took. Baggins' were renown for never doing anything unusual or going on adventures. The Took's were the opposite of that. Bilbo finished their conversation and hurried inside after inviting Grandalf to tea. That's when his troubles began. The next day Grandalf and thirteen Dwarves arrived at his house and ask him to join their quest. His Took side wins and he joins. What dangers await Bilbo, deadly mountains, a magic ring, an evil forest, a deadly dragon, a mountain of gold, and even a war. If you are interested in what happens to Bilbo read the Hobbit.
