This book is about the amazing life of John Muir. Some of my favorite things that he did were that he discovered that wool from wild sheep is finer than the wool of tame sheep. How about that. He even got to the top of Mount Shasta in a snow storm! He stayed up there for a week! Read about John Muir's other adventures in Steep Trails.
I recommend this book to an older audience. It can still be read by younger people but it might not be as interesting. I kind of liked the part I read.
