Happy New Year

Happy New Year, everyone! My family and I had fun popping balloon after my dad dropped them from a ladder to celebrate the new year. I wanted to tell you the very first thing I did in the new year, but can't because I don't actually know what it was. I could have done a number of things like taking a breath, a heart beat, a thought, or a couple of other things. I would bet on a thought or a heart beat. I like the new year because it is so timely, meaning there is so much time a head in the year. My grandma and grandpa had to leave on the first day of the new year. I miss them already. I will be going back to school soon, but I wish I had enough time to do all the things I want to do. I hope to bring up my grades and have a fun year. I hope you had a good Christmas and plan to have a great year.
